It may NOW LOL!! (post hurricanes) ...
Anyways, it ain't GWB's fault. I can't IMAGINE what kind of trouble we'd be in now if Gore or Kerry were president...we'd still be "studying" the Taliban threat.
GWB at least kicks ass, and it's good for the economy, GWB has provided strong leadership. Sitting back got us TWO World Trade Center bombings .... I'd rather be on the offensive.
I don't know anyone -- Democrat or Republican -- who wasn't thinking on the day of Sept 11, 2001 "Thank God George Bush is our president". Even people like Rosie ODonnell were saying that at the time.
I don't think Gore would have even known what to do and all his cabinent appointments would have political friends and people needed to "make the cabinent representative of the popular".
The trouble for people who don't like Bush ... the Democratic candidates in almost every election since 1980 have been some big losers (Kerry, Gore, Mondale as examples).
Even if you were skeptical about Bush and Iraq, how the hell could you have voted for John Kerry. That guy was a terrible candidate and his wife was a complete nutball. He never did make it clear anything about himself except that he "was in Vietnam" and he never did say what his Iraq plan was.
Ah the 2 party system.
And Clinton firing missiles into the middle of nowhere in the late 1990's in "retaliation" for something Osama did like attack a ship or something. Yeah, that's how to secure the country.
Bush is burying us in debt. Maybe the next President will have a plan.
What exactly are Republicans "for" anymore, by the way? Fiscal conservatism? Small government? Reforms? Cutting government spending?
If the Democrats weren't such complete losers, I don't understand anymore why someone should vote Republican other than that they "suck less".
